NACP'S GOAL

The goal of the NACP is very simple: FIND A CURE FOR CANCER. If we had large financial resources, our choices would be a lot simpler, but the truth of the matter is that we must be very judicious in selecting lesser goals which will maximize our contribution to reaching this ambitious, high level goal. The commitment, dedication and expertise of our members are the key to our choices. Our three selected goals are:

· Increased funding for cancer research;

· Rapid FDA approval of safe, efficacious cancer drugs and devices;

· Supporting research for solving children's cancer.

Achieving these goals alone will not cure cancer, but achieving them will make positive contributions to finding a cure for cancer by stimulating research efforts and by removing barriers and impediments to research. If you would like to help, to play a part in our efforts, we urge you to become a member of NACP by completing the membership application page. After that we'll be in touch with you to let you know how you can help.

We need your help!
Cancer patients are suffering and dying because the U.S. does not have an adequate, reliable supply of many medical isotopes needed for cancer research, diagnosis and treatment. The federal government has the legal responsibility to provide the needed medical isotopes, and could easily do so at little or no cost to the taxpayers, while saving tens of billions of dollars in medicare and medicaid costs annually.

please consider becoming a member of the National Association of Cancer Patients to help support our work on behalf of all cancer patients. You can send a check made out to NACP to:
